Swift First Aid is an approved centre with ITC First Ltd – an Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation in England and a SQA Accreditation recognised Awarding Body in Scotland.  

We are approved to deliver regulated first aid training to all sectors – from sole traders to large organisations. Our trainers deliver a systematic approach to learning with well-resourced, environment specific materials and are assessed annually as well as participating in regular CPD to ensure they operate to the highest standards.

Our clients operate in a diverse range of working environments from low risk office and retail spaces to remote outdoor settings. We also provide training in Sports First Aid, Paediatric and Outdoor First Aid to sports clubs, the leisure & outdoor industry, community groups, parents and carers and those working in childcare settings. We are based in the Scottish Borders but we are also travel throughout Scotland & the UK to meet our clients needs.

First Aid for the Workplace

All employers are required to provide ‘adequate and appropriate’ first aid personnel and equipment on their premises for staff and have a duty of care towards all visitors and users of their facilities. .

Employers are required to risk assess their workplace first aid requirements and both the First Aid at Work (3 days) and the Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) courses are statutory qualifications for this purpose.

Outdoor First Aid

The ITC Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid is regulated by OFqual and recognised by various Outdoor National Governing Bodies and the Health & Safety Executive as providing appropriate training for those working or operating in an outdoor environment where professional emergency assistance is more than 10 minutes away.

Sports First Aid

The ITC qualification in First Aid for Sport, Exercise & Fitness is designed for the sports first aider who will need knowledge and practice of emergency life-saving first aid as well as managing and dealing with common sports injury situations.

We are also a recognised first aid supplier with the SYFA and deliver training that meets the criteria suggested by the SFA medical Committee to football clubs around Scotland.
